Introduction
The practice of Life Cycle Assessment is a holistic and comprehensive way to evaluate the full environmental burden of a material, building assembly, system, or service over its full life cycle, from extraction of raw materials, through manufacture, packaging, transport, operation, cleaning, repair, and maintenance, to disposal, recycling, or disassembly and reuse.
The LCA does not factor in the social justice that are encountered when resources are extracted from developing countries, altering patterns of living and habitat. Also it does not factor in the child labor, wages paid nor on site job injuries.
